However, meal prepping is a seemingly daunting task. Cooking is hard enough when it’s for one meal. Cooking for a whole week in one day is tedious. Throwing all of your vegetables on a couple of baking sheets and popping them in the oven to cook with your chicken or potatoes is a great use of space and time.
Buy Foods That Don't Need to Be Cooked
There are some foods, like tuna, that don’t need to be cooked. If you know that you’re going to have a busy day and don’t have time to meal prep, then try this. A large chuck of meal prep is the actual cooking. Therefore, looking for foods that you don’t have to cook is a time saver. Also, snacks that you don’t need to bake are a great idea when you’re busy!

This one might seem like a no-brainer. However, planning out your meal prep will save you a lot of time. When you know what you’re going to cook and when, you will find that it’s easier to cook the foods. Also, knowing which foods you should cook first will make the best use of your precious time!
