Item Specifics

Castor and Pollux Organix Dry Dog Food is obviously a dry dog food. But it is also grain free. Typically, people choose grain free because of either digestive problems, weight problems, or allergy problems. Two out of these three problems is very rare. But the digestive issue is actually a commonly occurring issue. To make up for the grain and carbs, Organix Dry Dog Food includes sweet potato, chickpeas, and flaxseed.

Organix Dry Dog Food has a ton of certified organic ingredients right off the bat. The only somewhat concerning ingredients are the peas and sunflower seed meal, mostly because they have a lower biological value than meat, meaning it can be a little difficult to digest. However, it is not as difficult as soy, which is not included here. In fact, Organix Dry Dog Food does not include any soy, wheat, corn, or grains.

Organix Dry Dog Food is, as we have seen, very organic, and they have the seal to back it up. They are USDA Organic Certified. While they do not hold anything for grain free or gluten free, their ingredients do the talking for them. There really is no need to feature a certification seal when you can simply check for any ingredients that contain grains in their ingredients list.

This brand of dry dog food features a few great things. For one, this food is packed with nutrients, which are necessary to keep your pup happy and healthy. with this food you also get a good supply of Omega Fatty Acids which help maintain healthy skin and coat for your dog.

Taking everything into account, this is a dog food that looks awesome. Completely organic, with the first ten, plus, ingredients being organic. Even the chicken fat is organic. And of course, it is certified by USDA. Besides the controversial ingredients being included, even those are organic.
