Initial Thoughts

Okay, so my first thoughts when looking at Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash is that it must be good! It has a 4.6 star rating on Amazon and is an Amazon's choice item. The price tag, however, was not very appealing to me. It costs around 17 dollars, which means it costs almost two dollars an ounce. However, this product really has everything going for it. It's hypoallergenic, vegan, organic, cruelty free, antibacterial, and ph balancing. That is quite a list of good qualities. What is in Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash that makes it worth almost 2 dollars an ounce?

Ingredients

Body wash is a type of soap. I haven't considered where soap comes from to be honest.I never expected it to be made of berries though! Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash is made from a berry called the soapberry that is grown in the wild and naturally and ethically sourced.  Almost every other ingredient is completely natural too, and this body wash is paraben-free, phthalate-free, lauryl sulfate-free, and petroleum-free. Essentially, this means that all the nasty chemicals you often hear about in beauty products are completely absent from this body wash. That being said, let’s take a closer look at the natural ingredients in this body wash.

Sapindus Mukorossi

Called the Indian soaperry because it grows natively in western coastal regions of India. However, it also grows in the lower foothills of the Himalayans. Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash's soapberries are harvested from the wild in Taiwan. Like any Sapindus berry, a soft lather is produced from the saponin contained in these berries. It has remarkable cleansing properties. It is extremely gentle on your skin. The soapberries used by Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash are sustainably sourced.

Organic Shea Butter

Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash uses organic, fair trade shea butter in their body wash, which helps with collagen production in the skin. Shea butter is also rich in vitamins A, E, and F, and it also naturally offers some protection against UV rays. It is a great moisturizer, as well as a great ingredient for inflamed skin and other skin irritations. By using raw and organic fair-trade shea butter, it maintains all of its natural, skin-fortifying properties.

Organic Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is one of the most widely used ingredients around. I think I see it in literally everything. However, I can't blame anyone for doing so, because Aloe Vera is a super awesome plant. When used on yout skin it acts as a moisturizer and adds nutrients back to your skin. It is full of vitamins and enzymes that will keep your skin looking smooth and feeling soft for a long time.

Lavender Extract

Lavender extract is also a great natural ingredient for a body wash. It has antioxidant properties that protect the skin, but it also has antiseptic properties that disinfect the skin. It moistruizes and naturalizes the skin as well.

Specifics

Because almost every single ingredient in Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash wash is natural and organic, it offers many benefits for your skin. The body wash is intended to make your skin, not only more clean, but more healthy. This body wash gently exfoliates and hydrates the skin, leaving it soft and smooth. It does not matter if you have dry skin, oily skin, or sensitive skin because this soap works on every skin type. For those with acne-prone skin, this body wash will not even clog your pores. In fact, many of the ingredients in Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash will help fight your acne.

This natural body wash is completely hypoallergenic. Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash is designed for people who have extremely sensitive skin and need a product that will nourish and hydrate their dry skin without causing irritation. The product brags about leveling your skin's PH levels to 5.5, which is actually a big deal. Your skin's PH will determine how sensitive it is to other soaps and chemicals.

The Product

Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash currently has a 4.6 star rating on Amazon, but there are only about 300 customer reviews on it. I imagine not that many people have purchased this product because of that expensive price tag. There are also some reviews that claim this product doesn't hydrate their skin any more than a regular hydrating body wash. However, the Amazon's Choice badge this product carries can't be overlooked. Reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, and even the bad ones are not one star reviews. Tree to Tub Moisturizing Body Wash is obviously doing something right.

Other bits of information that you need to know include the fact that this body wash is biodegradable, which makes it great for the environment. This product is also vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free.Tree to Tub also does not test any of their products on animals.
